URGENT CALL - Take action to STOP Government legally committing crimes

The UK public are in terrible danger. The Government has introduced a bill to be able to commit crimes legally against the people.
Deadline is tomorrow morning Thursday 15th October 2020 as they are fast tracking this through in the same way that they have been doing with all other legislation under the pretext of emergency powers.
Many MPs and the opposition parties are colluding by not challenging any of this and actively choosing not to vote at all. This a criminal dereliction of their duty that we cannot allow!

The legislation seeks to give undercover operatives the ability to commit criminal offences and will be achieved by amending the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA).
It will allow state agencies to authorise a Covert Human Intelligence Source (CHIS) to commit criminal offences which Government says may be necessary for protecting national security, preventing or detecting crime or disorder, or protecting the economic wellbeing of the UK. None of this can be believed.
To all intents this is now the final nail in the coffin for civil rights and means we are fully living in a dictatorship where selected groups and individuals are above the law.
These powers mean full civil and criminal immunity for those who commit the crimes and there are no limits outlined as far as we can see with even state sanctioned murder not being ruled out. The biggest concern is that this legislation will be used to stop citizen pushback where it is becoming clearer that we are being stripped of our rights at a horrific scale that is now beyond dystopian.

The intelligence services
Any of the intelligence services
The armed forces
Any of Her Majesty’s forces
Revenue and Customs
Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.
Government departments
The Department of Health and Social Care
The Home Office
The Ministry of Justice
Other bodies
The Competition and Markets Authority
The Environment Agency
The Financial Conduct Authority
The Food Standards Agency

I am writing to you today as your constituent with the support of Save Our Rights UK.
It is my understanding the Covert Human Intelligence Bill will be having the Committee Stage this Thursday 15th October and this will be a Committee of the House. I further understand that there will be a number of proposed amendments to this Bill.
I would ask yourself as my representative to either propose amendments where there are none or to support them where there are to the effect of:
LIMITING THE TYPES OF CRIMES AND TO SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDE TORTURE, MURDER AND SEXUAL OFFENCES
TO RAISE THE BAR HIGHER AND TO BE MORE EXPLICIT IN WHEN THIS LEGISLATION CAN COME INTO PLAY FROM ‘TO PREVENT DISORDER’ AND ‘TO PROTECT THE ECONOMIC INTERESTS OF THE UK’
TO GIVE SERIOUS CONSIDERATION TO THE BODIES GIVEN THESE POWERS AND LIMIT IT TO WHERE ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY
These are in order of importance to me and I would ask you to act accordingly but ultimately I would ask you to do your part to ensure they are given due consideration of the house. This Bill carries significant consequences and while I understand its necessity I have grave concerns about the wide sweeping powers it gives. It is easily open to abuse in its current form and this cannot be condoned.
I am also concerned by the fact that all further stages of Parliamentary scrutiny have been scheduled for the same day. I feel this is being rushed through and with a Bill of this magnitude I would argue that that is not appropriate. This also limits my ability as your constituent to voice any concerns in between stages and is an infringement upon my democratic rights. I would therefore ask you to keep me up to date over the next few days with what amendments are proposed by either yourself or others that you will be supporting. I will be writing to the speaker of the house too to express my wish for them to be heard and also my feelings about the speed in which this Bill is being passed. If you are not willing to support any amendments then I would request a full explanation of how and why you came to that conclusion.

I feel this is being rushed through and with a Bill of this magnitude I would argue that that is not appropriate. This also limits my ability as a constituent to voice any concerns in between stages and is an infringement upon my democratic rights. I would therefore ask you to reconsider and to space out the remaining stages of this Bills passing to a timescale more befitting.
